Pool Shapes

Standard pool shapes used most often are:

rectangle pool shapeRectangular shapes offer the biggest bang for the buck. Especially good for lap swimming and pool games. Lots of surface area. A good choice for an active family.

Grecian pool shapeGrecian pools are similar to rectangles, but with truncated corners. Nice looking, but some pool area is sacrificed for the Grecian look.

Grecian pool shapeRoman pools are like rectangles with semi-circles added to the ends. These are simply elegant, especially when internal steps are added.

Kidney shape poolKidney shaped pools are just that. They are easy on the eyes, and are a good choice when naturalized landscaping is used near the pool.

Freeform pools can be tailored to your site and landscape plan.

True-L shape poolTrue-L pools are like two rectangular pools at 90 degrees from one another. A lot of pool area. Good when shallow area activities and deep water activities  are happening simultaneously.

Lazy-L pool shapeLazy-L pools are like true-L’s but at 45 degrees from one another. A very nice look.

Customization of each of these designs is possible, and indeed does happen regularly.
