Vinyl

Vinyl lined pools are custom fit to galvanized steel walls and a customized hand troweled bottom. Since panel widths can vary from 1 foot to 9 feet wide, an unlimited number of configurations are possible. Next to gunite, vinyl pools offer a huge numberĀ  of design possibilities. Vinyl liners are typically 28 mils thick and carry a 25 year warranty.


Steps:

  1. Site preparation and layout of the pool area are the initial step
  2. Setting the elevation is the important critical first step.
  3. Excavation to predetermined depths.
  4. Assembly of the steel wall panels .
  5. Leveling and plumbing of assembled panels.
  6. Rough plumbing lines from main drains, skimmers and returnsĀ  to pump equipment.
  7. Pour concrete footing 8-10 inches thick x 3 feet wide to secure the pool base.
  8. Electrical bonding to light niche and pool walls.
  9. Backfilled after Inspection.
  10. Coping and deck installed.
  11. Deep end re-excavated to depth desired.
  12. Pool bottom shaped by hand.
  13. Pool bottom hand troweled with vermiculite 2-3 inches thick.
  14. Vinyl Liner installed.
  15. Water added, main drain, lights, skimmers and returns cut in.
